Fun Show Rules
This show is strictly a fun show. There is no required riding attire, you can show in a t-shirt and jeans if you wish. Food is available on the grounds. Electrical hookups are available for $15 per day. Dedicated water hook ups are not available.ALL RIDING CLASSES OVER 12 RIDERS WILL BE SPLIT.ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASED. Spectators are welcome, with a gate fee of a donation, or a full show parking pass for $20.
Fun Class Descriptions
Costume Class - Horses can be ridden or lead. Multiple people can be part of a costume but only the horse will have a number and win a ribbon.Stick Horse Class - must provide your own stick horse! Ribbons Class: Two horse/rider combinations will have a crepe ribbon between them. Riders must perform all of the commands without breaking or dropping the ribbon. Walk/Trot - unless all riders are alright with cantering. Baby Bottle Race: 2 riders - 1 horse. Rider in front holds bottle for rear rider to drink. Rear rider cannot touch the bottle and must steer horse and perform gaits. First one to finish the bottle wins. The Baby Bottle is generally filled with apple juice but can make accommodations. Significant Other Class: Have your non-experienced significant other/parent/sibling take a spin in a class. Walk & Trot/Gait only, no cantering. Helmets recommended! ?? Command Class: This is an elimination class. The last horse to be eliminated is the winner. Elimination is a result of the horse refusing to do the commands in a timely manner. Rider must hold gait/command until next command is given (including halt). Reverse means stop after the reverse unless indicated otherwise by the judge. Potato Race - Potatoes will be on a pole, rider must trot/gait down to the potato, turn around and take to bucket. First one to do all potatoes wins. Cantering disqualifies. Jack Benny "Root Beer" Race - Trot horse to end of the arena, dismount, drink beverage, and race on foot back to the starting line with your horse. First horse across wins.
