Course will be in in the arena and horses will jump out of the arena onto the hunt filed where jumps will simulate natural hunt field obstacles. Course to include 2 or more of the following" trot fence, halt, back, roll back, or hand gallop at course designer's discretion. Up to 6 top horses\riders may be called back to test on flat at judge's discretion. Not rated or pointed.

Hunter pairs class (2 horses\2 riders) is open to all riders, juniors, adults, and professionals. To be held on the open derby field. Pairs will be judged on the flat as hunters with suitability and manners to count. Each pair will be asked to jump 2 fences abreast or in tandem. The 2 obstacles will be typical field hunter fences (log, coop, post and rail, etc.) and there will be a high and low side (2'\2'6") to each obstacle. Pairs will decide which horse-rider to jump low or high side. Jumps to count 60% of score. Not rated or pointed.
