As most have heard, fellow equestrian, grand prix rider, and Irish team rider kevin Babington suffered a terrible fall at the Hampton Classic horse show in August. Kevin, and his family have been wonderful supporters of our sport, and many horse shows including the Sussex county benefit series, and the Sussex County Horse Show. Due to the nature of Kevin's injuries, his family is not only facing his recovery, but a huge number of medical bills. The equestrian community has come together to help this wonderful family in so many ways. The Sussex county horse show committee would like to do what we can as well. At out final two 2019 benefit shows (10/5 and 10/26) we will be having a jump for kevin class. For an additional $25 entry fee, we will take the scores from the third class in every jumper division, and combined them. Ribbons will be given 1-8 using the combined scores. All money from this will be donated to the kevin fund. We will also take any other donation that day to add to the fund. Please come out and show with us in our final 2 benefit shows. #prayforkevin
